GKVS has been a driving force in enhancing agricultural practices and allied activities in all districts of Uttarakhand. The organization collaborates with Farmer Clubs, encouraging sustainable farming practices, and promoting cooperatives for better market access. Through its extensive experience, GKVS has significantly contributed to the growth of the agricultural sector, ensuring the prosperity of farmers.

Artisan Clubs and Skill Development:

Recognizing the importance of preserving traditional crafts and empowering local artisans, GKVS has actively supported Artisan Clubs. By providing skill development opportunities, the organization has helped artisans enhance their craft, enabling them to generate sustainable livelihoods. This focus on skill development aligns with the larger national agenda of Skill India Programme.

Forest Department Schemes:

GKVS has collaborated with the Forest Department to implement schemes aimed at sustainable forestry practices. This includes initiatives for afforestation, biodiversity conservation, and community involvement in forest management. The organization has played a pivotal role in promoting eco-friendly practices and fostering a harmonious relationship between communities and their natural surroundings.

Panchayat Raj Schemes and Jal Jeevan Mission:

Working closely with local governance structures, GKVS actively engages in Panchayat Raj Schemes, contributing to the effective implementation of grassroots-level development initiatives. The organization has also been a key player in the Jal Jeevan Mission, focusing on rural sanitation and irrigation capacity building. The organization’s focus on horticulture, beekeeping, and hut making aligns with the broader goal of creating sustainable income sources for rural communities. This multi-pronged approach ensures a comprehensive upliftment of the socio-economic fabric.

Sill Development and Manpower Selection

GKVS is working on all skill development programmes including for Minorities, Women’s, Tribals, and Schedule Tribes apart from providing skilled manpower for smooth implementation of joint venture projects with Cooperative Departments across Uttarakhand for projects like Mushroom, Beekeeping Production, Marketing and Branding.

GKVS is having large pool of trainers, consultants, advisors which are providing services on requirements for different government and non-government agencies.
